Tumbling Sessions

Tumbling at Steel City

Join a Steel City Tumbling class for an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fun and supportive environment!

What is Tumbling?

Tumbling is a high-energy gymnastic sport that combines acrobatic skills, speed, and precision. Performed on a spring runway, athletes execute a series of powerful, controlled flips, twists, and somersaults in rapid succession. Unlike traditional gymnastics, tumbling focuses on floor routines without the use of apparatus. It requires immense strength, balance, and agility, making it an exciting discipline to watch and participate in, suitable for athletes of all ages who enjoy dynamic movement and aerial elements.

Where are sessions held?

All sessions are held at our venue: The Forge, 1 Wallace Road, Sheffield S3 9SR. We have plenty of parking spaces in our free car park and there is also lots of free on-street parking on the surrounding roads. Our bathroom facilities are fully accessible for those with additional mobility needs.

What should my child wear?

Children should wear comfortable clothing they can move freely in, bare feet (socks if required) with long hair tied back and all jewellery removed for safety. We ask that adults remove any outdoor shoes when on our sprung floor to protect the carpeted surface.

Please let us know if you have any further questions – we are happy to help.
