At Steel City Sports there is a place for everyone, in a growing range of inclusive sports as well as physical and sensory experiences.


Recreational and FUNdamentals Classes

Spaces available in classes from 31st May 2021

Our Recreational programme is a fantastic, low-cost option for new athletes who would like to try a range of disciplines. 

Athletes learn a range of foundational skills, in a nurturing and exciting environment, from our core disciplines: Allstar Cheerleading, Tumbling and Gymnastics. 

3-8 year olds work through our FUNdamentals programme whilst young people aged 9-15 join our Recreational Class.

Allstar Cheerleading - Steel City Allstars

Spaces available in classes from 31st May 2021

Steel City Allstars is a brand new Allstar Cheerleading Programme that will provide outstanding coaching for athletes of all abilities aged 4 - adult.

Whether you have many years of cheerleading experience, or you want to give this exciting sport a go for the first time - our highly qualified and experienced staff will support you; helping you to achieve your goals. 

Recreational class and competition team options will be available - no experience is necessary for either.

Tumbling - Steel City Allstars

Spaces available in classes from 31st May 2021

Steel City Allstars are excited to launch their Tumbling programme for athletes of all abilities from age 9 - adult. 

In this unique sport, athletes learn acrobatic and aerial skills such as cartwheels, walkovers, and handsprings all the way through to twisting skills. 

We provide a variety of classes suited to different needs and levels of structure. Whether you are a beginner or have years of experience, get in touch and we will be happy to find the class that is right for you. 

General Gymnastics

Spaces available in classes from 31st May 2021

Our General Gymnastics programme is suitable for athletes aged 9-11 years old.

Learn to perform dynamic balances, flexibility stretches, and fundamental floor, vault, beam and bars skills.


Steel City Sports and Wellbeing Hub

From 14th June 2021

Working and learning together, we provide physical development and sensory exploration opportunities for children, young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). 

Our specialist - and currently expanding - staff, consisting of a qualified SEND teacher and teaching assistant are ready to:

  • work with small groups at Steel City Hub

  • facilitate and lead class visits to Steel City Hub

  • work with individuals at Steel City Hub

  • school/setting visits from Steel City Staff

Hub staff are both Team Teach and moving & handling trained, having vast experience working with people of all ages with a wide range of needs.
